How do I make multiple exams share the same documents?

Share the same documents between multiple exams.

To start, login to your administrator account and click the Settings icon in the top right hand corner of the screen.

Once in the settings interface, select the Exams navigation link in the sidebar on the left, which will bring you to the Exams settings page, once here, select the relevant exam's edit icon, which is the small square green icon to the right of the list of exams.

Then you will be brought to a screen where you can edit the exam settings, which looks like this:

Now, scroll down to find a section marked Common Exams, it will look like this:

Now, make sure you know the names of the modules of the other exams you wish this exam to have the same paper as. For Example, we may have one exam in the Mathematics module, and one exam in a Physics Module which share the same paper. If you are currently looking at the Physics exam, we would now search for the Mathematics module.

In the search box beside Common Exams, type a part of the name of the module which contains the exam you wish to make a common exam, say, "Mathematics".

The list will filter to your search term, now click the relevant exams (each row is a separate exam, the name of the module is listed first, then the module code in brackets with the year of the exam). Then click the right arrow to move the selected exams to the selected side.

Now click save, and you're done! Whenever a document is created in either of these exams, the papers will be added to both exams', likewise if one paper version is approved in one exam, it will be reflected in the other exam too.
